What is Person-Centeredness Planning?
We thought we’d take a moment and answer a question we get frequently: ‘What is person-centered planning?’. In short, person-centered planning focuses goal-setting activities on the individual receiving support. This positions the person to take control of their own life. It is a living process, done collaboratively.
Even if the individual is not receiving employment supports, this description from the National Parent Center on transition and employment explores the topic thoroughly. We support our community of participants to explore ways in which they can increase their access to their own self-determination.
